New Jersey Ices Ottawa 5-4 - Recap

New Jersey needed a shootout to earn a 5-4 victory over Ottawa on Thursday in NHL action at Prudential Center.

Adam Henrique potted the shootout winner for New Jersey. New Jersey got goals from Dainius Zubrus, Ilya Kovalchuk, Zach Parise, and Mattias Tedenby in the victory. Parise opened the scoring at 14:59 of the second period.

Daniel Alfredsson, Milan Michalek, Nick Foligno, and Jesse Winchester scored for the Senators, finding the net behind Johan Hedberg.

New Jersey outshot Ottawa 31-29 in the game.
