California rebounds with win over UCLA
Jahvid Best made a 93-yard touchdown run and caught a 51-yard scoring pass, and the California Golden Bears got back on track after two tough losses with a dynamic first half in a 45-26 victory over the UCLA Bruins on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears covered the 3.5-point spread, while the final score played OVER the day's posted total of 44.
Shane Vereen rushed for 154 yards and a score, and Marvin Jones caught two TD passes from Kevin Riley in the Golden Bears’ first win in nearly a month.
Kevin Prince passed for 311 yards but threw a terrible interception in the final minutes for UCLA.
