Cougars Fall 42-28 Against UCLA - Game Recap
Johnathan Franklin ran for 216 yards as UCLA handled Washington State by a score of 42-28 on Saturday at Rose Bowl.

Richard Brehaut completed 12 of 23 pass attempts for 128 yards for the Bruins in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
James Montgomery rushed for 45 yards for Washington State, while Logwone Mitz added 24 yards. Jeff Tuel threw for 311 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Marquess Wilson and Jeffrey Solomon had 118 and 83 yards respectively.
Washington State lost the offensive yardage battle to UCLA 565-384 yards in Saturday's game. UCLA had more first downs as that total ended up 27-21.
The time of possession battle favored UCLA as their offense was on the field for 34:49, longer than the 25:11 of their opponents.
Next game, UCLA takes its act on the road to face California looking for another win. For Washington State, they head home to face Oregon.
