Sooners vs Tigers Final: 38-28 - Recap
Landry Jones led the way with 448 passing yards on Saturday as the Sooners picked up a 38-28 victory over the Tigers at Memorial Stadium.
The Sooners won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the 20-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.
Dominique Whaley rushed for 68 yards, while Brennan Clay added 43 yards in the win. Ryan Broyles and Jaz Reynolds added 154 and 93 receiving yards respectively.
Henry Josey rushed for 133 yards for Missouri, while James Franklin added 103 yards. James Franklin threw for 291 yards for the Tigers, while receivers T.J. Moe and L'Damian Washington had 119 and 45 yards respectively.
Missouri lost the offensive yardage battle to Oklahoma 592-532 yards in Saturday's game. Oklahoma had more first downs as that total ended up 32-24.
The time of possession battle favored Oklahoma as their offense was on the field for 32:23, longer than the 27:37 of their opponents.
Next game, Oklahoma takes its act home to face Ball State looking for another win. For Missouri, they head on the road to face Kansas State.
