Recap - Jets Defeat Toronto 3-2

The Jets earned a 3-2 victory over the Maple Leafs on Saturday at MTS Centre.

Winnipeg won as a -125 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Winnipeg got goals from Andrew Ladd, Blake Wheeler, and Zach Bogosian in the victory. Bogosian opened the scoring at 2:51 of the second period.

Ondrej Pavelec turned in a 22-save effort for the Jets.

Clarke MacArthur and Phil Kessel scored for the Maple Leafs, finding the net behind Ondrej Pavelec.

James Reimer stopped 32 of 35 shots for the Maple Leafs, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Winnipeg went 2-for-6, while the Maple Leafs were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Toronto lost the shots on goal battle to Winnipeg by a margin of 35-24.

Next game, Winnipeg takes its act on the road to face Montreal looking for another win. For Toronto, they head home to face Tampa Bay.
