Colorado needed a shootout to earn a 2-1 victory over Los Angeles on Monday in NHL action at STAPLES Center.

Colorado lost the shots on goal battle to Los Angeles by a margin of 32-21.

Next game, Colorado takes its act on the road to face Chicago looking for another win. For Los Angeles, they head home to face Phoenix.
