Recap - Islanders Defeat Buffalo 4-2

New York earned a 4-2 victory over Buffalo behind a 2-goal performance from Michael Grabner on Saturday at Nassau Coliseum.

New York was favored by -125 and came through for bettors backing them. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 5.5.

Michael Grabner (2), Kyle Okposo, and Matt Moulson each scored for the Islanders in the victory. Moulson opened the scoring for New York, finding the back of the net at 13:10 of the first period. The goal was assisted by John Tavares and Travis Hamonic.

New York outshot Buffalo 40-25 in the game.

Next game, New York takes its act home to face Nashville looking for another win. For Buffalo, they head on the road to face Detroit.
