Phoenix Falls 6-2 to Ducks - Recap

Phoenix couldn't hang with the Ducks on Wednesday as Anaheim blasted the Coyotes 6-2 at Honda Center.

Anaheim won as a -125 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Anaheim got goals from Francois Beauchemin (2), Jason Blake, Niklas Hagman, Corey Perry, and Matt Beleskey in the victory. Hagman opened the scoring at 13:49 of the first period.

Jonas Hiller turned in a 25-save effort for the Ducks.

Daymond Langkow and Kyle Chipchura scored for the Coyotes, finding the net behind Jonas Hiller.

Mike Smith stopped 15 of 21 shots for the Coyotes, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Anaheim went 1-for-1, while the Coyotes were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Anaheim lost the shots on goal battle to Phoenix by a margin of 27-21.

Next game, Anaheim takes its act home to face Ottawa looking for another win. For Phoenix, they head home to face Detroit.
