Jayhawks soar past Bulldogs in the fourth quarter
The Kansas Jayhawks scored 20 points in the final quarter to pull out a 34-14 win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Saturday night.
The Jayhawks won this game as 15-point favorites at home and made good on covering the spread. The combined score of 48 points fell UNDER the posted over/under (50.5).
Brian Luke threw for 233 yards and tossed touchdown strikes to Charles Gordon, Derek Fine and Brian Murph, while Jon Cornish picked up a TD on the ground in the win.
Matt Kubik completed 18-of-32 passes for 186 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss. Anthony Harrison and Freddy King had the TD receptions for the Bulldogs.
