Jayhawks top Cyclones in OT
Scott Webb kicked three field goals on Saturday, including a 35-yarder in overtime to lift the Kansas Jayhawks to a 24-21 win over the Iowa State Cyclones.
The Jayhawks won this game as a 3.5-point underdog at home. The game’s combined 43 points went OVER the posted over/under (41.5).
Brian Luke, who came into the game to replace an ineffective Jason Swanson, completed 9-of-12 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown, and also ran for a TD in victory. Dexton Fields had the touchdown reception for Kansas. Swanson finished the game with 172 yards passing and three interceptions.
Bret Meyer threw for 256 yards, two touchdowns, and was picked off once, and Ryan Kock had a rushing TD in the loss for Iowa State.
