The battle between the Wildcats and Jayhawks didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Kansas was handed a 59-7 defeat on Thursday at Memorial Stadium.

Carson Coffman completed 15 of 16 pass attempts for 184 yards for the Wildcats in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Angus Quigley rushed for 70 yards for Kansas, while James Sims added 23 yards. Jordan Webb threw for 228 yards for the Jayhawks, while receivers Bradley McDougald and Johnathan Wilson had 65 and 62 yards respectively.
The time of possession battle favored Kansas as their offense was on the field for 30:13, longer than the 29:47 of their opponents.
Kansas State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Baylor. Kansas will aim to get back on the winning track vs Texas A&M.
