Bruins Fall 6-0 Against Buffalo - Game Recap

The battle between the Sabres and Bruins didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Boston was handed a 6-0 defeat on Wednesday at First Niagara Center.

Buffalo was an underdog by +145 and came through for bettors backing them. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 5.5.

Jason Pominville (2), Christian Ehrhoff, Drew Stafford, Patrick Kaleta, and Tyler Ennis each scored for the Sabres in the victory. Ehrhoff opened the scoring for Buffalo, finding the back of the net at 6:23 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Tyler Myers.

Ryan Miller turned in a 36-save effort for the Sabres.

Tim Thomas stopped 16 of 19 shots for the Bruins, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Buffalo went 0-for-2, while the Bruins were 0-for-0 with the man advantage.

Buffalo lost the shots on goal battle to Boston by a margin of 36-29.

Next game, Buffalo takes its act home to face Dallas looking for another win. For Boston, they head home to face Nashville.
