Cardinals take care of Zips on road

MiQuale Lewis rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns, and Nate Davis passed for 300 yards and two more scores, to lead the Ball State Cardinals to a 41-24 win over the Akron Zips on Saturday.

The Cardinals managed to cover the 6.5-point spread, and the combined score played OVER the posted total of 60.

Davis completed 24-of-36 passes with one interception, tossing scoring strikes of 21 yards to Briggs Orsbon and 25 yards to Darius Hill.

Deryn Bowser had eight catches for 117 yards for the Zips in the loss.
