Nebraska defense rock solid against Wake Forest
Steward Bradley and Corey McKeon each returned an interception for a touchdown and the Nebraska Cornhuskers defeated the Wake Forest Demon Deacons 31-3 on Saturday night.
The Cornhuskers were 6.5-point favorites at home and made good on covering the spread. The game’s final score fell UNDER the posted over/under (44.5).
Zac Taylor competed 14 of 33 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown in the win, while Cory Ross ran for 123 yards on 20 carries for Nebraska.
Ben Maulk went 12-for-27 for 118 yards and was picked off three times in the loss for Wake Forest.
