Zac Taylor’s rushing touchdown in the second quarter Saturday was the game’s only major as the Nebraska Cornhuskers beat the Pittsburgh Panthers by a 7-6 score.

The Cornhuskers failed to cover the 9-point spread in this contest. The combined score fell well UNDER the day’s posted total (40.5).

Taylor went 10-of-20 for 93 yards in the win. Panthers QB Tyler Palko completed 11-of-27 pass attempts for 190 yards. Josh Cummings booted two field goals for Pittsburgh.
