Los Angeles got goals from Dustin Brown (3) and Willie Mitchell in the victory. Brown opened the scoring at 10:48 of the first period.
Jonathan Quick stopped 19 of 19 Chicago shots in the victory.
Ray Emery stopped 20 of 20 shots for the Blackhawks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.
On the power play, Los Angeles went 2-for-3, while the Blackhawks were 0-for-6 with the man advantage.
Los Angeles outshot Chicago 30-19 in the game.
Los Angeles heads into a battle against the Predators. Chicago, meanwhile, will have their next action against Anaheim.
