Marian Hossa scored twice to lead the Blackhawks over Toronto 5-4 on Wednesday at United Center.

Chicago got goals from Marian Hossa (2), Patrick Kane, Marcus Kruger, and Andrew Shaw in the victory. Shaw opened the scoring at 11:01 of the first period.

Ray Emery turned in a 23-save effort for the Blackhawks.

Joffrey Lupul, Clarke MacArthur, Mike Brown, and Tyler Bozak scored for the Maple Leafs, finding the net behind Ray Emery.

Toronto got a 30-stop effort from Jonas Gustavsson in the loss.

On the power play, Chicago went 0-for-2, while the Maple Leafs were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Toronto lost the shots on goal battle to Chicago by a margin of 35-34.

Next game, Chicago takes its act on the road to face Ottawa looking for another win. For Toronto, they head on the road to face Montreal.
