Red Raiders crush Wildcats
Running back Taurean Henderson rushed for three touchdowns to go along with his two touchdown catches on Saturday and the No. 13 Texas Tech Red Raiders dumped the Kansas State Wildcats 59-20.
The Red Raiders were 15-point favorites in this one and easily covered the spread. The game’s final score went well OVER the posted total (59.5).
Cody Hodges threw for a whopping 644 yards and five touchdowns in the win. Joel Filani had 10 catches for 255 yards and a TD, while Robert Johnson and Jarrett Hicks both had over a hundred yards receiving and a TD for the Red Raiders.
Yamon Figurs returned a kickoff for a 98-yard TD for the Wildcats and Allan Evridge threw a 80-yard touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson in the loss.
