Recap - Canucks Defeat Columbus 4-3

Vancouver got a pair of goals from Daniel Sedin as the Canucks skated to a 4-3 victory over Columbus on Saturday at Rogers Arena.

The Canucks were a -270 favorite in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Daniel Sedin (2), David Booth, and Alexander Edler each scored for the Canucks in the victory. Booth opened the scoring for Vancouver, finding the back of the net at 16:16 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Chris Higgins and Dan Hamhuis.

Cory Schneider turned in a 33-save effort for the Canucks.

Vinny Prospal, James Wisniewski, and Jack Johnson scored for the Blue Jackets, finding the net behind Cory Schneider.

Steve Mason stopped 34 of 38 shots for the Blue Jackets, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Vancouver scored 2 times on 3 chances on the power play, while Columbus went 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Columbus lost the shots on goal battle to Vancouver by a margin of 38-36.

Vancouver looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Wild. The Blue Jackets will aim to get back on the winning track at Calgary.
