Chicago skated to a 2-1 victory over Vancouver on Wednesday in NHL action at United Center.

Chicago got goals from Patrick Kane and Andrew Shaw in the victory. Kane opened the scoring at 3:12 of the second period.

Corey Crawford turned in a 23-save effort for the Blackhawks.

Vancouver got a goal from Jannik Hansen in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Roberto Luongo stopped 35 of 37 shots for the Canucks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Chicago went 0-for-5, while the Canucks were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Vancouver lost the shots on goal battle to Chicago by a margin of 37-24.

Next game, Chicago takes its act home to face Nashville looking for another win. For Vancouver, they head on the road to face Dallas.
