Nikolai Khabibulin stopped 19 of 21 shots for the Oilers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Tampa Bay scored 1 time on 4 chances on the power play, while Edmonton went 0-for-1 with the man advantage.

Tampa Bay lost the shots on goal battle to Edmonton by a margin of 36-21.

Next game, Tampa Bay takes its act home to face New York looking for another win. For Edmonton, they head on the road to face Florida.
