Buffalo got goals from Thomas Vanek, Cody Hodgson, and Marcus Foligno in the victory. Vanek opened the scoring at 1:12 of the second period.
Ryan Miller turned in a 24-save effort for the Sabres.

Josh Harding stopped 34 of 36 shots for the Wild, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.
On the power play, Buffalo went 2-for-4, while the Wild were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
Minnesota lost the shots on goal battle to Buffalo by a margin of 37-25.
Buffalo looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Capitals. The Wild will aim to get back on the winning track at Washington.
