Philadelphia cruised to victory on Sunday, earning an easy 8-4 win over the Penguins at Wells Fargo Center.

Bettors who backed the Flyers were rewarded as +117 underdogs at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 6.

Danny Briere (2), Max Talbot (2), Matt Read (2), Claude Giroux, and Wayne Simmonds each scored for the Flyers in the victory. Talbot opened the scoring for Philadelphia, finding the back of the net at 6:44 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Claude Giroux and Matt Carle.

Ilya Bryzgalov turned in a 31-save effort for the Flyers.

James Neal (2) and Jordan Staal (2) scored for the Penguins, finding the net behind Ilya Bryzgalov.

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 22 of 28 shots for the Penguins, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Philadelphia went 4-for-6, while the Penguins were 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

Philadelphia lost the shots on goal battle to Pittsburgh by a margin of 35-34.
