Texas cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 45-0 score against New Mexico in Week 2 action at Memorial Stadium.

David Ash completed 16 of 22 pass attempts for 221 yards for the Longhorns in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Kasey Carrier rushed for 51 yards for New Mexico, while B.R. Holbrook added 39 yards. B.R. Holbrook threw for 32 yards for the Lobos, while receivers Ty Kirk and Jeric Magnant had 16 and 10 yards respectively.
New Mexico lost the offensive yardage battle to Texas 431-241 yards in Saturday's game. Texas had more first downs as that total ended up 20-16.
New Mexico led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:52/26:08 split in that important category.
