Columbus couldn't hang with the Avalanche on Thursday as Colorado blasted the Blue Jackets 4-0 at Pepsi Center.

Matt Duchene (2), P.A. Parenteau, and John Mitchell each scored for the Avalanche in the victory. Parenteau opened the scoring for Colorado, finding the back of the net at 0:51 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Matt Duchene and Jan Hejda.
