Ottawa Falls 6-4 to Lightning - Recap

Ryan Malone scored twice to lead the Lightning over Ottawa 6-4 on Friday at Tampa Bay Times Forum.

The Lightning were a -125 favorite in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Ryan Malone (2), Matt Carle, Tom Pyatt, Steven Stamkos, and Victor Hedman each scored for the Lightning in the victory. Carle opened the scoring for Tampa Bay, finding the back of the net at 1:09 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Cory Conacher and Marc-Andre Bergeron.

Anders Lindback turned in a 32-save effort for the Lightning.

Jason Spezza, Kyle Turris, Erik Karlsson, and Erik Condra scored for the Senators, finding the net behind Anders Lindback.

Ben Bishop stopped 25 of 30 shots for the Senators, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Tampa Bay went 1-for-4, while the Senators were 1-for-4 with the man advantage.

Ottawa outshot Tampa Bay 36-31 in the game.

Next game, Tampa Bay takes its act home to face Philadelphia looking for another win. For Ottawa, they head home to face Pittsburgh.
