Wolverines pull away from Illini
The Michigan Wolverines scored 10 points in the fourth quarter to come away with a 27-17 victory over the Illinois Fighting Illini Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.
Michigan covered the slight 1.5-point spread on the road, while the combined 44 points were UNDER the posted total of 50.
Mario Manningham caught nine passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns, while Chad Henne completed 18-of-26 passes for 201 yards with two touchdowns in the win.
Jacob Willis had three catches for 40 yards and a touchdown for the Fighting Illini, while Juice Williams had the other TD in the loss.
