Oilers Fall 4-3 Against Calgary - Game Recap

The Flames beat Edmonton 4-3 on Saturday, earning a victory backstopped by Miikka Kiprusoff's 17 saves.

Calgary won as a -122 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Jay Bouwmeester, Curtis Glencross, Lee Stempniak, and Mikael Backlund each scored for the Flames in the victory. Backlund opened the scoring for Calgary, finding the back of the net at 5:16 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Michael Cammalleri and Lee Stempniak.

Calgary outshot Edmonton 35-20 in the game.

Next game, Calgary takes its act home to face Colorado looking for another win. For Edmonton, they head home to face Colorado.
