Northwestern vs Illinois Recap - Fighting Illini Win 38-35
Nathan Scheelhaase led the way with 391 passing yards on Saturday as the Fighting Illini picked up a 38-35 victory over the Wildcats at Memorial Stadium.

Nathan Scheelhaase rushed for 35 yards, while Donovonn Young added 29 yards in the win. A.J. Jenkins and Spencer Harris added 268 and 63 receiving yards respectively.
Treyvon Green rushed for 67 yards for Northwestern, while Mike Trumpy added 63 yards. Dan Persa threw for 123 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Jeremy Ebert and Jacob Schmidt had 68 and 40 yards respectively.
Northwestern lost the offensive yardage battle to Illinois 473-332 yards in Saturday's game. Illinois had more first downs as that total ended up 23-21.
Northwestern led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:29/29:31 split in that important category.
Illinois looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Indiana. Northwestern will aim to get back on the winning track vs Michigan.
