Andrew Cogliano scored a pair of goals against the Red Wings as Anaheim handed Detroit a 5-2 defeat on Friday at Joe Louis Arena.

Anaheim won as a +108 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Anaheim got goals from Andrew Cogliano (2), Corey Perry, Bobby Ryan, and Matt Beleskey in the victory. Beleskey opened the scoring at 3:27 of the second period.

Viktor Fasth turned in a 26-save effort for the Ducks.

Detroit got goals from Joakim Andersson and Tomas Tatar in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Jimmy Howard stopped 32 of 36 shots for the Red Wings, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Detroit lost the shots on goal battle to Anaheim by a margin of 37-28.

Anaheim looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Predators. The Red Wings will aim to get back on the winning track at Minnesota.
