Houston lights up Central Florida

Houston racked up 516 yards of offence, and both teams combined for 1,046 yards as the Cougars dropped the Central Florida Knights 51-31 at Robertson Stadium on Saturday.

The Cougars covered the 17-point home spread, and the 82 points scored were well OVER the posted total of 57.

Kevin Kolb had a great day, going 22-for-34 for 305 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception, and Jackie Battle had 14 carries for 70 yards and three scores for the Cougars,

Kyle Israel was 9-for-18 for 207 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, and ran for 47 yards. Kevin Smith ran for 163 yards and three majors on 31 attempts for the Knights.
