Wildcats stave off Chippewas
The Kentucky Wildcats were beaten in every offensive category, but still prevailed 45-36 Saturday against the Central Michigan Chippewas.
Kentucky came into the game as a 10-point favorite at home and could not make good on covering the spread. The final score sailed well OVER the posted total (51).
Andre Woodson passed for 267 yards, completing 20-of-32 with four touchdowns and Keenan Burton caught two TD passes for the 3-2 Wildcats in the win.
Dan LeFevour threw four TD passes in the loss, making good on 22-of-39 with four touchdowns as the Chippewas fall to 2-3 overall.
