The action kicks off on November 2 when Gennady Golovkin (27-0, 24 KO’s) puts his WBA and IBO World Middleweight titles on the line against Curtis Stevens (25-3, 18 KO’s). Boxing odds on this fight are heavily handicapped in favor of the champ with the current line on Golovkin set at -1150 at Bovada.
Despite impressive outings in his last four fights, Stevens will be taking a huge step up in competition against Golovkin and will need to out-move and out-box the champ if he’s to pay out on the +1000 underdog option on him at Bovada. No man has been able to do that to Golovkin to date, and the champ is expected to finish this fight via KO/TKO within the first six rounds.
On November 23 Carl Foch (31-2, 22 KO’s) defends his WBA and IBF Super Middleweight titles against the undefeated George Groves (19-0, 15 KO’s). The best price currently available on Foch to defend is a -380 line at 5Dimes. Many experts are giving Groves a good chance at the upset, and if you agree you can find a +325 upset option on him at Bovada.
The big fight scheduled for the month of November is the Welterweight fight on the 23rd between Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KO’s) and Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23 KO’s). Pacquiao gets the nod as the -430 favorite at 5Dimes, while Rios will pay +380. This fight could be a good underdog option when one considers that the ageing Pacquiao has lost his last two fights.
