The month of February has a wide selection of boxing odds to choose from, with action currently being offered on 30 fights.
A few big-name favorites including Heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko will be in action this month, as well as a few closely handicapped bouts that could be offering some great boxing betting value.
This weekend offers boxing betting fans a heavily-favored Kevin Mitchell making his return to London against Felix Lora. It won’t be cheap but action on Mitchell in this tuneup fight is currently costing -4000 at 5Dimes.
This should be an easy night for Mitchell who is hoping to secure a fight with WBO champ Ricky Burns following an impressive night against Lora. If you like to drop the odd bit of action on longshots Lora will pay off at odds of +2000 at 5Dimes.
Next weekend offers 13 fights to choose from but the one that most boxing betting fans are interested in is the WBC Heavyweight championship fight between Vitali Klitschko and Dereck Chisora. Oddsmakers at have a -1400 price on the champion while 5Dimes will pay +1000 for the Chisora underdog upset.
Klitschko has been the ultimate stud when it comes to boxing betting over the last few years, but at +1000 the talented Chisora might be worth a few bucks' risk.
On February 25 oddsmakers have the Welterweight super-fight between Devon Alexander and Marcos Maidana handicapped closely. Current lines at 5Dimes have Alexander as the -170 favorite, while Maidana is a +150 underdog.
Picking a winner in this one is tough, but considering the +150 line Maidana looks like the better value. Alexander may not be comfortable at Welterweight and could find it difficult to deal with the power from bigger opponents.
