Boxing Betting Odds: July Preview
July will bring boxing betting fans an assortment of fight cards that include IBF Featherweight and Light Heavyweight title fights. This upcoming weekend is packed with eight fights and action is already available on the July 5 contender fight between “Billy the Kid” Dib and Mike Oliver.
Dib (35-2, 21 KO’s) looks to rebound from his first loss in four years and get right back in the title contender picture as the heavy -1500 5Dimes boxing odds favorite. Oliver (25-3, 8 KO’s) will look to stay away from Dib’s power and somehow out-box his opponent for a decision win. If Oliver can manage to do that he will pay as a boxing odds +700 underdog option at 5Dimes.
Boxing legend Bernard Hopkins (53-6-2-2, 32 KO’s) will put his IBF Light Heavyweight title on the line against Karo Murat (25-1-1, 15 KO’s). Despite being 48 years old Hopkins is currently a heavy -600 boxing betting favorite at 5Dimes to defend his title, as he is expected to have a big edge in power.
Murat is coming off an impressive TKO win over Sandro Siproshvili to earn his shot at the big money fight but will need to find a way to stop the champ, something no fighter has ever done, to pay out on the boxing odds +450 underdog option at 5Dimes.
Later in the month undefeated Billy Joe Saunders (17-0, 10 KO’s) will face undefeated Gary O’Sullivan (16-0, 10 KO's) for the WBO International Middleweight title. One fighter will face defeat for the first time, and a big money fight in the Middleweight division would be on the horizon for the winner.
Other notable fights in July include Felix Strum vs. Predrag Radosevic, Charlie Jose Navarro vs. Omar Chavez, and Carl Frampton vs. Fabian Oscar Orozco.
