Boxing: Fury's Odds vs Top Contenders

Tyson Fury is the new undisputed king of the heavyweight division after defeating Wladimir Klitschko who hadn’t lost in over 10 years prior to the decision loss to Fury. The 27-year-old Fury who has a spotless 25-0 record with 18 KO’s appears to be in the prime of his career and boxing fans are already playing matchmaker trying to predict his next opponent.

Online sportsbook Bet365 has targeted four potential opponents for the new heavyweight king and has set odds for each of those fights.

The big money fight would likely be a rematch vs Klitschko. Some are speculating that at 39-year-old Klitschko might retire, but if a rematch does take place, Bet365 gives Klitschko the edge at -125 with Fury at -110.

Oddsmakers also aren’t giving the new champ much respect vs another top contender, Anthony Joshua—owner of a 14-0 record with 14 KO’s. The English fighter would be a -138 favorite over Fury who would be +100.
