CFL Betting Odds: Week 10

The CFL returns to a full slate in Week 10 with the B.C. Lions up against the Toronto Argonauts on Friday in the first of four CFL betting matchups on this Labour Day weekend.

Both teams are 2-6 and coming off wins, with B.C. defeating the Edmonton Eskimos 36-1 as a 5-point road underdog, while the UNDER bettor collected in totals wagering.

Toronto knocked off the lowly Saskatchewan Roughriders 24-18 last time out. The Argonauts covered the 3-point spread, while the combined score made winners of UNDER bettors.

Winnipeg rolls into Saskatchewan to face the 1-7 Roughriders as a 3.5-point spread favorite at 5Dimes when the two meet on Sunday. The Blue Bombers are 7-0-1 ATS this season, and have rewarded the UNDER bettor in six of eight games to date.

Winnipeg has won five straight and lead the CFL at 7-1. They bested the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 30-27 in their last game but failed to cover the 3-point spread, while the game’s combined score made it OVER the posted OVER/UNDER total of 49.5.

In the first of two CFL betting matchups on Monday it’s the Montreal Alouettes (5-3) who are 3-point favorites on the betting lines in Hamilton (4-4) when they kick off against the Tiger-Cats. The game’s OVER/UNDER total is sitting at 55.5 at 5Dimes.

Hamilton has a win at home against the Alouettes this season, and has covered in back-to-back meetings. Montreal fell 38-31 to Calgary last time out as a 1.5-point road underdog, while that game’s combined score sailed OVER the posted total of 55.

Edmonton looked promising to start the season, but they have since dropped three straight. The Eskimos (5-3) head into hostile territory as 9-point underdogs against the Stampeders, who lead the West at 6-2. The opening total for this game is set at 48 at 5Dimes.

Calgary has won eight of the last 10 head-to-head, but Edmonton did beat the Stampeders in their only meeting this season. Calgary has also covered the spread in three of the last four matchups between the two teams.
