CFL Betting Odds: Week 14

Montreal (7-5) will get another shot at climbing atop the East alongside Winnipeg (8-4) if they can beat the division-leading Blue Bombers in the first of two CFL betting matchups on Friday night.

Montreal defeated the West-leading Edmonton Eskimos 34-21 last week as a 1.5-point road underdog, while the combined score made winners of UNDER bettors in totals wagering.

Winnipeg had a chance to put some distance between themselves and Montreal, but a 25-24 upset loss as a 3-point road favorite against Toronto in Week 13 has them fighting to stay in first place in the East this week. That game’s 49 points made it OVER the posted total of 48.5 set by oddsmakers.

In the second CFL betting matchup it’s the Edmonton Eskimos (7-5) trying to stop the B.C. Lions' (6-6) five-game winning streak when they meet in British Columbia on Friday. The Lions are 5.5-point favorites at 5Dimes and the game’s total is set at 48.5.

The Lions blasted Saskatchewan 42-5 last week as a 2-point road underdog, while the combined score went UNDER the posted total of 51.5.

The Eskimos and Lions have put up points in games this season and have rewarded OVER bettors a combined 17 times in 24 games thus far.

Saskatchewan (4-8) heads next door to meet the Calgary Stampeders (7-5) in CFL betting action on Saturday afternoon. 5Dimes has the Stampeders as 5.5-point favorites for this contest, while the opening total is set at 55.

Calgary has won both head-to-head meetings with the Roughriders, and should garner most of the attention on the CFL betting lines. The Stampeders are trying to snap a two-game skid and need a win to stay atop the West Division.

Hamilton (6-6) meets rival Toronto (3-9) for their second CFL betting matchup of the season when the two play on Sunday. 5Dimes has the Tiger-Cats as 3.5-point favorites, while the total is sitting at 54.

The Tiger-Cats cruised past Calgary 55-36 last time out, while the teams rewarded OVER bettors in totals wagering.

Hamilton won the first matchup this season against Toronto, but failed to cover the 7-point spread in that victory. These teams have paid out to UNDER bettors in seven of their last 10 head-to-head meetings.
