CFL Underdogs Cashing At 83%

Since before the season started, I've  been writing about the importance of looking at underdogs and UNDERs in the CFL during the first four weeks of the season.

Hopefully you've been cashing in. Dogs are now 10-2 ATS (against the spread) and the UNDER is 7-4-1 after Week 3. That's an 83 percent hit rate for underdogs after going a perfect 4-0 last week and a 63.6 percent win rate for the UNDER this season.

The UNDER numbers are consistent with the numbers going back to 2006. Heading into the season the UNDER cashed at a 63 percent rate through the first four weeks of the season.

Underdogs, on the other hand, are way above the norm. They typically cash at 60 percent in the early going.

This is Week 4 if you're not familiar with the CFL, so keep that in mind as you make your wagers. After the first four weeks things tend to get a little dicier and already oddsmakers are adjusting.

The largest spread for this week is 3.5 points and the other three games had a number of one point or less as of Wednesday. Week 4 kicks of Wednesday night with the Ottawa RedBlacks at the Toronto Argonauts.
