CFL Week 4 Betting Preview and Trends

Winnipeg and Calgary are both perfect ATS while the Ottawa RedBlacks haven't been able to pay off on the CFL betting lines so far this year as we enter Week 4 of the season on Thursday night with the Blue Bombers playing host to the Edmonton Eskimos.

Thu Jul 17 - Edmonton at Winnipeg, 8:30pm ET Last 10 Meetings: Winnipeg 4-6 SU, 6-4 ATS | OU 4-6

The Eskimos and the Blue Bombers are a combined 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS on the season as those two teams kick off the Week 4 CFL betting slate on Thursday night. Last season the Eskimos won both of their games against the Blue Bombers both SU and ATS, with Edmonton having now paid off ATS in four of their last five games against Winnipeg at the sportsbooks. The OVER is 3-1 in the last four games between the two teams.

Fri Jul 18 - Toronto at Ottawa, 7:00pm ET Last 10 Meetings: Ottawa 0-0 SU, 0-0 ATS | OU 0-0

The RedBlacks have started their first CFL season at 0-2 both SU and ATS and will be looking for that first victory on Friday night in their home opener against the 1-2 both SU and ATS Argonauts. Toronto will be looking to bounce back from an ugly 34-15 home loss to the Stampeders in Week 3, while Ottawa fell by a 27-11 score in Edmonton last week.

Fri Jul 18 - Hamilton at Calgary, 10:00pm ET Last 10 Meetings: Calgary 8-2 SU, 5-5 ATS | OU 4-6

An unbeaten team faces a winless team in Calgary on Friday night in CFL betting action as the 2-0 both SU and ATS Stampeders play host to the 0-2 SU and 1-1 ATS Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Last season the Stampeders went 2-0 SU and 1-1 ATS against the Tiger-Cats, with the UNDER paying out for totals bettors in both of those contests at the sportsbooks. Calgary is 8-1 SU in its last nine games against Hamilton.

Sat Jul 19 - Montreal at B.C., 7:00pm ET Last 10 Meetings: B.C. 4-6 SU, 6-4 ATS | OU 6-4

The Alouettes and the Lions will get an early-season rematch on Saturday, with Montreal topping B.C. by a score of 24-9 as a 3-point home underdog in an UNDER result on the CFL odds in Week 2. Montreal and B.C. split their two meetings last season both SU and ATS, with the OVER/UNDER going 1-1 as well for totals bettors at the sportsbooks. The OVER has paid off in six of the last 10 games between the two teams.
