14 games into the CFL season the Calgary Stampeders have the best futures odds to win the Grey Cup this season.
Calgary is at +140 at after being at +500 before the season began. The Stampeders have already clinched a playoff berth and they have played great on both sides of the ball scoring the most points in the league and giving up the fewest. They have a very well balanced offense and QB Henry Burris ranks third in the league in passing yards and RB Joffrey Reynolds ranks third in the league in rushing yards. If they get home field in the playoffs they will be tough to beat, as they have only lost one game at home all season.
has defending champion Montreal at +160 after being at +175 in the middle of June. The Alouettes are in the playoffs again and they have scored the most points in the East Division led by QB Anthony Calvillo, who ranks fourth in the league n passing yards. Their defense has played well, but in their last game in week 14 they gave up 46 points to Calgary, who they may have to play again for the right to take home the Grey Cup.
Saskatchewan is at +300 at after being at +275 on June 22nd. The Roughriders have already made the playoffs and they have won three straight. QB Darian Durant leads the league in passing yards and the Saskatchewan has played well, especially in the second half of the season. After week 14 they only trail Calgary by two points in the West Division and they would love to surpass them before the playoffs since the Roughriders are 6-0 at home this season.
has Toronto at +1200 after being at +3000 a few months ago. The Argonauts began the season on fore, but have since cooled off and have lost their last two games. After week 14 they are tied with Hamilton for second place in the East Division. For Toronto to go all the way their offense has to wake up, as they have really struggled to score in the last few weeks. RB Cory Boyd leads the league in rushing yards, but Cleo Lemon, who recently got his starting job back, will have to play well.
Winnipeg is at +2000 at after being at +1500 in mid June. The Blue Bombers have to start winning to make the playoffs, as they are last in the East Division and they have lost three straight.
has Hamilton at +2000 after being at +1000 before the season began. The Tiger-Cats are tied with Toronto for second place in the East, but this season they have given up more points than they have scored.
