In week 12 of the CFL last season last week Saskatchewan beat Calgary 43-37 in a barnburner in a possible preview of the West Division finals.
Hamilton beat BC 35-31 on the road hurting the Lions playoff chances, Toronto snapped their losing streak beating Winnipeg 17-13, and Montreal had no problems beating Edmonton 31-14.

Saskatchewan is pretty comfortable making the playoffs in the West while Hamilton is tied with Toronto with 12 points in the East. Both teams are coming off a win, but Hamilton has given up more points that they have scored this season. BC is eight points behind Saskatchewan in the West and to move up in the conference they will have to beat Calgary at home, which no team has been able to do this season. Calgary is not only undefeated at home, but they have scored the most points and given up the fewest points in the league. The key in this game is the defense of the Lions, as they have to contain the dynamic Calgary offense led by QB Henry Burris, who ranks second in the league in passing yards and first in TD’s by a wide margin.

Toronto finally snapped their losing streak and they have a good chance to win their second game in a row against an Edmonton team that has the fewest points in the league and has scored the fewest and given up the most points in the league this season. Edmonton has lost three straight and they have yet to win on the road this season.
