Winnipeg hosts underdog Toronto on Friday night in the first game of two doubleheaders in Week 2 CFL betting action.
The Argos head in their Friday contest after knocking off Calgary last week, posting a 23-21 win and covering the 7.5-point spread as underdogs. The Blue Bombers were also winners against Hamilton on Canada Day and look to follow that up in their home opener. The Blue Bombers are favored by 1.5 points at 5Dimes for Friday, with a posted total of 48 points.
Interestingly the total has gone UNDER in seven of Winnipeg’s last nine home games against the Argonauts.

In the second game on Friday, winless Calgary and B.C. meet on the gridiron. The home Lions are favored by 1.5 points at 5Dimes in this tilt, and look to bounce back after losing 30-26 at Montreal last week (covering the 4.5-point spread in the process). The Lions had a lackluster year last year, going 8-10, but they were coming on at the end. They look to build upon that by beating the Stampeders, whom they’ve lost to nine out of their last 11 meetings.
Saturday sees the Alouettes fly into Regina to face the hometown Riders. Saskatchewan looked shaky in a 42-28 loss to the Eskimos last week, failing to cover as 6-point favorites. Anthony Calvillo and the Als' vaunted passing game will look to take advantage early to keep them scrambling. Oddsmakers at 5Dimes have Montreal as a 2-point road favorite in this contest, and they are 6-1 in their last seven games against Saskatchewan.
The week culminates with Hamilton visiting Edmonton. Tiger-Cats QB Kevin Glenn looks to get back on track after being chased in last week's loss to Winnipeg. Hamilton holds an 8-2 ATS edge in their last 10 meetings, but they are 5-5 in the win/loss column. They also have only one win in their last nine trips to Edmonton. The Eskimos are favored by 1.5 points at 5Dimes, with a posted total of 52.
