2016 Florida Republican Primary Odds

Marco Rubio has seen his campaign fall apart over recent weeks, with his support evaporating rapidly. Despite the struggles, Rubio maintains that whoever wins Florida will win the Republican Presidential nomination. Florida looks like the last bastion of hope for Rubio, with a loss in his home state all but dooming his campaign.

Though the Senator from Florida has put all his eggs into the Sunshine State basket, he is not even the favorite to win the 99 Republican delegates from the state. Donald Trump is an overwhelming -500 favorite to claim victory in the winner-take-all state on March 15 according to Bet365.

Polls have shown that Trump’s ahead of Rubio in Florida, but with a winner-take-all system in the state, Rubio will need to drum up more support to ensure his campaign can stay afloat. Currently, Rubio is in a distant third in the delegate count behind Trump and Ted Cruz.
