WWE Fastlane Betting Odds and Predictions

The last WWE PPV before WrestleMania comes to you live from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 5. As a show, Fastlane is WWE’s last chance to tie up loose ends and definitively set their ’Mania card, at least for the Raw side of things.

There should be some interesting, though largely predictable, matches on the PPV but the question remains: is there any value for bettors?

Goldberg (-800) vs Kevin Owens (+450)

Despite the odds and all the rumors, every bone in my body wants to pick Kevin Owens. KO needs a clean win to help validate his WWE Universal title reign, as he constantly used Chris Jericho’s interference to win more often than not. It would be great for KO to prove his more cerebral side by wearing out Goldberg throughout the match.

Plus, Owens and Jericho need to collide at WrestleMania. This will happen but considering just how important that title has been to their relationship, it only makes sense for their blow-off match to be for the strap.

Then there is Goldberg’s storyline. He and Brock Lesnar are on a collision course for ’Mania and all the talk is about how some members of creative want it to be for the belt. I don’t understand why that match needs a title, as it’s money to casual fans without the belt being involved. But Paul Heyman has said that Lesnar wants Goldberg to have the title because he wants to win it off him.

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I’m putting a sprinkle on Owens. Either way, expect this match to be overbooked all to hell.

Bayley (+500) vs Charlotte Flair (-900)

I know many people are complaining that the Raw women’s title has basically played hot potato for the past year, but you should expect it to change hands again in this one. The WWE has made a huge deal out of Charlotte’s PPV winning streak and that is not going to be wasted on a second-tier PPV.

Sasha Banks (+800) vs Nia Jax (-2000)

Nia has continually gone over Sasha during their feud and it’s tempting to back The Boss here. That being said, Nia should probably pick up this win. If the WWE is going to move forward with the rumored fatal four-way between Banks, Jax, Bayley and Charlotte at WrestleMania, they would be best off building Nia as a credible monster heading into the event.

Other Predictions

Neville (-400) defeats Jack Gallagher (+275)

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (-350) defeat Enzo & Cass (+250)

Samoa Joe (-1600) defeats Sami Zayn (+700)

Braun Strowman (-2500) defeats Roman Reigns (+900) – NOTE: This match has a high likelihood of being a DQ or dusty finish, so be cautious.
