LiAngelo & LaMelo Ball Props: How Will the Big Ballers Perform in Lithuania?

Imagine you’re a teenage standout basketball player living in Southern California with a scholarship to UCLA on the table. All of the fame and attention you’ve ever wanted is right in front of you with the starry lights of L.A., palm trees and warm weather in your future. Now imagine your dad is LaVar Ball and you’re going overseas to Lithuania, leaving all of that behind. That’s what happens when you’re a big baller.

With Big Var announcing his sons LiAngelo and LaMelo will play for Vytautas Prienai in Prienai, Lithuania instead of UCLA, the sports world has been abuzz because this is where we’re at in 2017. The last time LiAngelo traveled overseas he was arrested for shoplifting along with two of his former Bruins teammates in China, which caused LaVar to get into a Twitter beef with President Donald Trump.

That’s why online shop Sportsbook has released odds on whether the pair will be arrested in Europe, with the odds of that happening coming in at a nice price of +2000. The book is also dealing a prop on whether the Balls will still be playing for Vytautas Prienai by the end of January 2018, with the YES option at -200 and the NO option at +150.

While Lonzo — the oldest brother who was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft — is experiencing his ups and downs in the NBA, LiAngelo and LaMelo are surely in for a culture shock in the city of 9,867 people. Judging by LaVar’s erratic behavior, it wouldn’t be a shock to see him create his own Big Baller Basketball League in the not too distant future if this venture doesn’t work out.
