Odds to Win 2011 Grammys

The Grammys will take place on February 13th and while we can expect some crazy fashions and some great performances, we can also expect some surprises in the Grammys odds list.

With the exception of Album of the Year odds, all of the other big awards are up for grabs and Sportsbook has lines for the biggies. The 53rd Grammy Awards will start off with a bang, as it has recently been reported that Britney Spears will open the show with her new single. However, the report has not been confirmed by K-Fed's exes' camp.

The performances will be a highlight, as many of the nominees will be performing such as Justin Bieber and Usher with Jaden Smith, B.o.B., Cee Lo Green, and Eminem just to name a few. One performer that is up for an award, but will have to be happy just to be there and not in the slammer is Bruno Mars, who recently made a deal that will keep him out of the clink for his arrest in Sin City for blow.

Besides the obvious question of who will win you have to ask your self is a bigger question, what the hell will Lady Gaga wear?

CeeLo Green has the best odds to win Song of the Year with the oh-so-family oriented F*** You. I don't know if he will win the award, but if he does not win video of the year at the MTV Awards, check it it's sweet, than it will be a travesty. After CeeLo all the other articles up for the awards have a shot and I would not be surprised if any of the nominees give an acceptance speech.

Odds at Sportsbook to win Song Of The Year

F*** You (CeeLo Green, Philip Lawrence and Bruno Mars, songwriters) +175
The House That Built Me (Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin, songwriters) +300
Beg Steal Or Borrow (Ray LaMontagne, songwriter) +400
Need You Now (Dave Haywood, Josh Kear, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott, songwriters) +300
Love The Way You Lie (Alexander Grant, Holly Hafferman and Marshall Mathers, songwriters) +500

Seriously, Justin Bieber has the same odds for best new artist as Florence and The Machine? Maybe if he has a bad hair night the award is up for grabs, but if his coif is flowing he should win. However, teenage girls do not vote for the award so maybe not.

Odds at Sportsbook to win Best New Artist

Florence and The Machine +175
Justin Bieber +175
Mumford and Sons +300
Drake +500
Esperanza Spalding +800

Eminem is the MAJOR odds on favorite to win the Album Of The Year and he should with his awesome "comeback." The Fame Monster by Lady Gaga is good, but if one album has a chance to upset Marshall Mathers it is the Arcade Fire's album The Suburbs, but don't count on it.

Odds at Sportsbook to win Album Of The Year

Recovery (Eminem) -350
The Fame Monster (Lady Gaga) +500
The Suburbs (Arcade Fire) +500
Teenage Dreams (Katy Perry) +1000
Need You Now (Lady Antebellum) +1600

The battle for the Record of the Year is a great one with two rap heavyweights with a couple of female crooners fighting it out. The night may belong to Eminem, which is why he is the slight favorite. He leads this year's Grammy nominations with 10 and even though in his career he has fewer nominations than Jay Z he has more wins (11 to 7). Sure, Lady Antebellum, CeeLo, and B.o.B., are in the category, but one of the hip-hop biggies will be winning.

Odds at Sportsbook to win Record Of The Year:

Love The Way You Lie (Eminem feat. Rihanna) +140
Empire State Of Mind (Jay Z, Alicia Keys) +150
Need You Now (Lady Antebellum) +550
F*** You (Cee Lo Green) +700
Nothin' On You (B.o.B feat. Bruno Mars) +900
