Odds on Bitcoin Increase/Decrease

A big day is approaching for Bitcoin users as Halving Day will take place on July 10, and oddsmakers have released odds on how much Bitcoin will either appreciate or depreciate following Halving Day.

According to online sportsbook Bovada, an increase of 0-5% is the most likely outcome, coming in at +140, with the second likeliest outcome being a decrease of 0-5% at +165. The odds of either a large increase or decrease aren't good, with an increase of over 15% at +2000, while a decrease of 15% is at +3300.

As of today, the US dollar to Bitcoin price stands at $577.63, and wagering is also available on where the price of the bitcoin will fall by the end of 2016. $500 - $800 is the most likely outcome according to the sportsbook at -150, while a price of over $1000 can be had for +450. A major dropoff isn't expect, with below $300 at +2000.

Bovada also has a list of countries available with odds for which will be the next to adopt a digital currency. China is the favorite at -120, while the United States is the biggest long shot on the board at +1000.
