The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Odds

Bart Simpson will finally be murdered by longtime foe Sideshow Bob on The Simpsons, and the oddsmakers at the online sportsbooks have posted betting lines on the cartoon killing.

The Simpsons showrunner Al Jean let it slip this past summer that Sideshow Bob would finally knock off Bart - albeit in the 26th annual Treehouse of Horror Halloween episode of the show, which means Bart will still be alive and kicking in regular episodes.

And Sportsbook has posted odds on the episode, which will air in the fall. The sportsbook has poisoning and falling from a height as top favorites on the entertainment betting prop at 5/1, with blown up and strangled both at 8/1, and an apt death by rake at 20/1.

As well, the murder location prop bet has indoors and outdoors as the 3/2 co-favorites, with the Simpsons' house at 2/1, and Bart's treehouse at 5/1. Sportsbook also has 10/17 odds on Sideshow Bob actually succeeding in killing Bart in the episode.

And the OVER/UNDER for viewers for the episode is set at 7.5 million, with the OVER at 1/2 and the UNDER at 3/2 on that prop wager. Last October the 25th annual Treehouse of Horror episode had 7.76 million viewers, while only 6.42 million watched in 2013.
