RBC Canadian Open Odds

The PGA Tour takes its talent north of the border this weekend as the RBC Canadian Open gets underway at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario. Sometimes overlooked, the 2016 edition of the tournament features an extremely deep field which will surely please the Canadian faithful in attendance.

Jason Day headlines the contenders at Bovada with +500 odds. Dustin Johnson (+550), Matt Kuchar (+1400), Brandt Snedeker (+2200), Jim Furyk (+2500), Emiliano Grillo (+2500), Tony Finau (+3300), William McGirt (+4000), Charley Hoffman (+5000) and Ryan Palmer (+5000) are also at the front of the pack.

Day won the 2015 Canadian Open thanks to a combined tournament score of 17 under par. The Australian bested American Bubba Watson by one stroke, giving him an unprecedented amount of momentum that culminated in the 28-year-old’s first major title at the PGA Championship.

Glen Abbey has hosted the most Canadian Opens, with 27 events taking place at the course. Three of the last four tournaments have been played at the venue.

Despite its geographical placement, a Canuck has not won the Canadian Open since Pat Fletcher accomplished the feat in 1954. Graham DeLaet (+5000), David Hearn (+5500) and Adam Hadwin (+8000) are the top Canadians in the field, and you know they would love to buck that trend.

There’s more on the line than just the hardware. The winner of the Canadian Open earns a Masters invitation for 2017.

Here’s a look at the book’s full list of odds:
